Hello everybody,
I’m Laura, a professional pastry chef and a passionate lover of simple and authentic cuisine.
In 2018 I graduated at ALMA – The International School of Italian Cuisine with specialization in pastry and my life, from that day, has been a succession of experiences and professional satisfactions.
My work experiences, first at the central pastry of the Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris and then at Ristorante del Cambio and the related pastry shop “Farmacia del Cambio” in Turin, have enriched me professionally and humanly.
In June 2020 I gave life to my secret dream with the opening of the “Miss Scola Pastry Lab” – Artisan Pastry Lab, the result of so much work and sacrifice, but of equal passion and dedication.

And it is right here that there is a story that takes place inside another one: the story of my heart.
Miss Scola Pastry Rooms is dedicated to my father, who never stopped believing in me and in my will to create and experiment.
So i decided to open the doors of my family home, to offer my guests the opportunity of a stay in the beautiful landscape of Lake Como.

Scola pastry lab

Miss Scola Pastry Lab is a contemporary artisan pastry laboratory, where you can find quality and elegant sweets, made by enhancing the value of raw materials. The products are processed manually with meticulous precision and without alteration.
No industrial preparations are used in this laboratory!

Scola pastry rooms

Miss Scola Pastry Rooms comes to life in the family home, where the aesthetic sense of mum and the practical sense of dad have given life to an elegant, refined and at the same time functional living.
Every space has been reorganized and cared for by me, in every little detail, in order to give my guests moments of relaxation and, if desired, of sharing. A special feature of the B&B is the attention to good food. Breakfast, the most important moment of the day, is based on artisanal pastry ingredients, made by me and products supplied by local farmers.
The dinner, on request, consists of simple dishes, rich in taste and essential in shap. To conclude on a sweet note, it is possible to combine a dessert.
Respecting an excellent and locally sourced raw material, each recipe is made with the only ingredient that must never be missing: love.
